My first class is on Wednesday but I've started today actually, have had oat so simple and fruit, some fat free yogurt, baled potato with cheese and beans and salad, and dinner tonight will be quorn sossies, leeky mash and carrots and mushy peas - and I'm really looking forward to that I've lost 2 stone this year already ( just over now) but after a nasty sick bug last week, have gone off a lot of the foods I was eating on my other plan ( which was Dax Moy and rather strict but great!) So decided to switch to Slimming World, which will make XMas a bit easier! I've stocked up on this Scan Bran stuff, bought a SW mag today, and been reading up a lot on it already - still not surte I have got my head round this healthy extra thing though! So who wants to be my buddy

i've been doing slimming world for about 10 years or more. I've completely lost the plot with it this year though and have put on about 2 stone. I'm not going to rejoin this side of christmas, but shall try to eat sensibly so i can lose a few pounds. What are you struggling with re healthy extra?

Hiya
I only tried slimming world once and I couldn't do it because there wasn't enough freedom for me re. the foods - I'm really, really, really picky!
You are the opposite to me, if I was starting a new slimming club on Wednesday I'd be pigging out now majorly! Ha ha!
Good luck! Sorry can't help you with the slimming world stuff but I'm dieting too now so can give you general dieting support!

I hate scan bran with a passion!!!! I was a SW consultant until a couple of years ago and I do love the eating plan. I did start going back to classes earlier in the year after I stopped feeding my son but my head wasn't in the right space so I didn't last long. I think working again is going to help me as I have way too much spare time on my hands at the moment. I think the saying "Little pickers wear bigger knickers!" is very apt for me at the moment. I have put a stone on since I came back from holiday in August and I am so cross with myself.
Anyway enough of my moaning. It's probably about time I pulled my finger out and did something about it!

Hi, I am doing slimming world again at the moment, I have lost half a stone in the last 5 weeks. Just got back from weigh in ( my children call it fat club) and lost another half a pound. It is coming off, but a bit slower than i would like. Goodluck with it.

lol@fat club if hubby calls it that, I'll deck him Thanks for the replies I had a green day yesterday, and felt so bloated and stuffed, we don't normally eat bread or potatoes, I suppose it's going to take a few weeks to settle into that, I bet I'll be the only starter who puts ON 5lbs LMAO!! Still feeling full and uncomfortable this morning. ON a red day today though, although i haven't eaten all I was supposed to for breakfast, I suppose it's ok to save the yogurt for later on as a snack instead? I'm following the 1 week intro that was in Woman mag last week, I find it easier to stick to when I have a plan to work to. Custard Cream, I lose weight really slowly too, took me since May this year to shift two stones. Also coming to terms with the fact that it'll look worse on the class scales as being weighed at night and with all my clothes on, so there'll be upto half a stone difference most likely, so hubby warned me to not feel down about that.
