I went on a ECM course last night & it got me thinking about adding to my portfolio how I achieve the 5 outcomes.
Does anybody else do this?
If so, I am struggling what to do for 'Achieve economic well-being'.
Can anyone help?

Hi
I have done this - well, I'm working on it and this is a hard one to complete.
Do these questions help? They're what I've been given to work with.
• Do you use NCMA documentation or your own? • Are you a member of NCMA? • Do you have signed Contracts in place for each child in your care? • Do you keep your Accounts records up to date? • Do you have current Public Liability Insurance? Which company? • How often do you monitor and review your Policies and Procedures? • How do you manage complaints and conflicts, e.g Complaints Procedure with Ofsted phone number, Complaints Book accessible to parents. • How do you ensure that you make the best use of time, space and resources? • How do you ensure your knowledge and skills are up to date? • How do you ensure your records are up to date? • Are your records easily accessible but stored securely?

We don't help children achieve economic well-being... for Childminders, it's about organisation.. Have you seen the Every Child Matters stuff on Bromley? Good place to start... and have a look at my portfolio here - www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2811Those are great questions Lorri Sarahx

Thanks everyone.
I thought it was organisation too but after going on the course she said that we have to show how we promote ecomoic well being, ie, if they come from a poor family & we take them places their parents wouldn't be able too, then thats promoting this.
I shall do it as organisation though if thats what you girls do.
