Hi Do any of you claim this back? I have registered and have all the forms but wondered whether I need to keep all receipts? It doesn't say whether I have to send receipts with the clain form?

no once you register with them with the price of your pint/litre of milk that is the amount they pay you unless you change it. my milkman has just put the price up to 49p per pint and i am currently claiming only 42p so i need to change it so i will probably send them my receipt for proof. i have been claiming about 3 yrs and i get on average £35 a month not much but every little helps

Yes it's well worth claiming and I don't send receipts either. don't forget though, if you put the milk you bought down as expenses then you have to put the milk claim down as income on your tax return because you have had 1/3rd pint refunded. hope that makes sense.

I have been claiming my milk back for 15 years and they have never asked for a receipt ,you can claim one third of a pint of milk for each child . Ask your milkman how much a pint of milk is if you dont have one just ring your local dairy. Lindaxx

I keep the receipts - just in case they're requested, but they never have been yet! I made a mistake the first year - I put the amount I'd got back in my tax return, but forgot to take it off my expenses LOL What goes in should always come out.... my new tax return motto! Sarahx

Address for milk payments: Health Departments Reimbursement Unit PO Box 504 Leicester LE94 0AE Tel. 08707 20 30 63 The form isn't easy... so once you've done it photocopy for next time... you won't have the same figures but at least you can see the method you used! Sarahx
