Hello I really need help i start in sept minding and dont know what i am supposed to have in place for ofsted and for the children . I have done all the intial bits policies etc: but is there certain stuff i need to be doing on a weekly or monthly basis record wise or paper work etc:
I have no idea how to go about planning and how to set it out the only thing i know is i want to base each month on a theme.
and i will be having 3 under 3 including my own son so want to get my head round the early years foundation whats the best way to do this have a book for each child and write in it how they developing etc:
god im so clueless but i wanna make sure i got all the important stuff underway i dont wanna find out i bin missing stuff out and have to rush before i have my first inspection

Hi Stacie Have a look through the 'Birth to 3 Matters' thread posts on here - there are some fab ideas for planning, observations and activities - angel's planning is relevant for your agegroups and she's put so much work into it I answered a thread the other day about how I plan - that might give you some tips as well Sarahx

Angels advice is great and I have incorporated that into my planning. I have a long term planning sheet, a medium term sheet and then will do weekly sheets as I go along. If you want the template, please pm me or visit the bromley site as I think that is where I got mine from.
