I have the NCMA Accident, Incident and Medication Folder and a policy which the parents sign giving me permission to give the children medicine such as calpol and benylin when necessary.
I am confused about which part to fill in in the NCMA folder. If the child requires a dose of calpol or cough medicine, do I fill in Part 1 or Part 3. It might be for a few days if the child has a cold and cough.

I am sorry Jules I can't help you.
I have not used standard NCMA paperwork for a good few years now (Make and type my own forms etc) and they have changed considerably since I lasted looked at one.
Hopefully one of the others will be able to help

I've got NCMA accident / incident & medication book (not folder) and I've put administering calpol in section 3. Not sure if this is right but thats where I've put it. Hopefully this helps. Carol x

Thanks for the policy Kate. I was rather confused when I got the email as I hadn't read your reply on the forum. It's very similar to mine.
I have been putting it down in Section 3, but have had a thick moment and thought perhaps I've been doing it wrong.
Glad I'm not the only one putting it there then.
