Hello and welcome to the forum
( sorry do not know your name ?)
You can add what you want to a newsletter it is up to yourself
I usually put childrens birthdays that are coming up
If I have any holiday and when
Reminder of things that children need to bring - like coats etc ( half of mine never bring them )
What we have been doing / what topics we are doing
Anything we will be doing
If there is any funny story I tend to write that in
If I need parents to bring anything for our craft work like old boxes etc
Just a few ideas many more but it takes me all my time when doing one to think of ideas myself sometimes ha
Hope that helps for now I am sure the others will add more
Angel xx

I don't do them regularly but mine have included-
reminders about fee increase holiday dates thanks for sponsorship and total we raised vacancy details (in case anyone is thinking about increasing their hours or knows someone who might be interested) details of extra hours available, eg late closing time on a particular day so parents can go late night xmas shopping
if I've space to fill I've included health info like getting your child's eyes tested, or special offers online or local shops.

I send a short one out every month with the bills - it says - what we have been doing what we are going to do any courses I've been on snippets of wise words from Ofsted / NCMA etc children's bdays or news holiday dates things to remember for parents any paperwork I've updated this month things to do if i need to fill up space (eg recipes) vacancy details I've do it from the previous month's template so it doesn't take long and I fill it up through the month as I think of things Sarahx

Wow!!!!
I am amazed that you have time to do all of this, along with all standard paperwork, invoices, inland revenue stuff and planning ahead for themes, menus etc. I am astounded. I must get more organised.
What sort of format do you use for your newsletter?? Is there a particular template that you use or do you use a spreadsheet or just microsoft word???
I must spend less time on this forum and more time doing work.

Hi everyone
I do newsletters at the start of each term - most of the things I include have already been mentioned but sometimes I ask the children if they want to add anything -if we've been on a trip they might add a few sentences saying what they liked.
And, yes I agree this site is very, very addictive but it's also full of info and very friendly.
Cheers
Miffy
