Hi all Hope you are well on what is another dreary day!! I have a parent coming round next week with her Son to get him used to my setting and settle him in for when he starts in September. He will be my first child as I am not up and running yet. Anyway, I will be picking him up 4 days a week from school at 12.00pm and his mum will collect at 4.30pm - this is from September to December. In January, he then starts full-time school so I will only have him for an hour a day. Also, his Mum has said about me having him during the holidays. I've said yes without thinking about the consequences. As we are doing Contracts when she comes round next week - I'm confused as to how to work this out as surely, from January he is taking a space for the sake of an hour a day and if I get a full-time child, then he could put me over my numbers during holidays. If I spoke to Ofsted, could they change my registration when they see that this is only temporary should my numbers rise. Thanks. Rasharoon

Hi Rashoon
Once he is at full time school he wouldn't then count in your under 5's numbers so you would be ok to have another, even if he was still 4 years old he would be classed as an over 5
Hope that helps
