I do a bi- monthly newsletter, I include things like a reminder of inset days occuring at our local school, any training I have done, reminders eg "now the good weather is here please send your child with a sunhat" etc, I also include topics we are covering and events we will be attending at toddlers and with other groups, I also include any updates from Ofsted .

I do a monthly newsletter
I have any children's birthdays that are coming up , and also mention about any children's birthday tea parties that we have already had
I talk about Buttercup our travelling teddy ( if anyone wants to add their details to his mailing list then please let me know although he does have a waiting list and is in Florida at the moment )
I tell parents what topics we will be doing
Reminders to parents , dates to remember etc , holidays coming up ...
Also if I have a prob with anything like people paying late I remind parents that payment is in advance etc
Then if we need scraps of anything for our craft work I ask if parents have any old wool etc etc
That type of thing
You do not have to make it too long sometimes I struggle sometimes I have more than enough to say
Angel xx
