Hi,
I am a banker at the minute, just 27, married for over a year, no baby yet, but planning to have one next year.
I'm planning to change career , be a childminder, I love kids. But our house is owned by co-ownership 25% do you guys think I could still pursue a childminding career?
Please need some adivce.....
Thanks...

Hi Shiela,
When I started minding, I owned 50% of my house, nobody ever questioned ownership or anything. So I can't see it being a problem.

On my ICP course we have a couple of women who live in RAF houses on the local base. They haven't experienced any problems. I know it's not the same as co-ownership but it's something slightly out of the norm.

I am renting and have been told I will be fine as long as I have my landlords permission - which I do. I know its not the same but I would have thought if you can do it when renting, you could do it if you part own.
