I have read through ofsted reports and there seems to be the 5 key areas
*Helping children to be healthy *Protecting children from harm or neglect and helping them stay safe *Helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do *Helping children make a positive contribution *Organisation
I guess you need to have awareness of all the national standards but are these the areas that are graded? Thanks Louise x

To help you with what they look for likes and dislike (not really the way to fraise it) try looking at some ofsted reports just go onto the ofsted web site put in your postcode or any postcode under childminder reports they will come up.You can also pick up some useful ideas

those 5 areas you mention heldraincloud are the every child matters agenda and all the ofsted standards are linked to those 5 areas.....have a browse through this doc here - www.ofsted.gov.uk/assets/3765.docnot exactly bedtime reading but it might make it all a bit clearer! Hope it helps Sarahx
