Hi everyone, this is my first post to the message board as I have only been minding for 4 weeks and i'm being inspected next week! I've only been registered since April and i'm really shocked that i'm being inspected already. I'm totally unprepared and full of panic as it's Thursday now and the inspector said she will be out on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Knowing my luck it will be Monday. PLEASE PLEASE HELP !!!

Hello and welcome to the forum
You have been given lots of good advice from the others
Good idea to read through the posts on here - others have been in the same situation as yourself and asked questions if you look around you will find out what the advice was
If you really do get stuck then give us all a shout I am sure someone will have the answer
It really is worth reading through all the posts though

Hi Louise
It is unusual for them to do an inspection so soon, usually it's 6 months !
As everyone says don't panic, they won't expect you to be perfect but you should make sure you have the main things in hand that might lead to you being down graded - such as a fire blanket, basic policies, separate first aid kit, all the children's information and contact details, emergency consent forms, attendance register plus various forms for accidents/medication/injuries.
