hi, i am trying to up date my policies for my inspection and don,t know how to word my infection control policy, can any one help?

If your child is ill, if you think your child might be ill, if your child has had calpol to mask a high temperature, if you are about to say to me 'they might be a bit tired because....', if they were sick in the night, if they are tetchy and have got an odd spot, if they have strange smelling breath, if they are scratching their heads, if their poo was a funny colour this morning and any other ifs that you're not sure about KEEP THEM AT HOME - I DON'T WANT IT - MY CHILDREN DON'T WANT IT - MY OTHER MINDEES DON'T WANT IT - I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO CLOSE NEXT WEEK AND LOSE 3 DAYS' INCOME Hope this helps! Thankyou to everyone who gave me advice on poicies, i got my inspection and i did very well , but i was reading a few posts about inspections and they say that they wont get another for 3 years, ours is yearly .

The first inspection is after 1 year, then the next is 3 years apart!! Well it is in my area.. Kate

Yes it is every 3 years here
Poor you having to face that again in a years time - at least it will stay fresh in your mind though

I had my pre visit in August and then the next one in July!!
After that it is 3 years apart!!

I have been registered for 3 years and i have had an inspection every year, all childminders in my area are inspected yearly, im just glad its over and i can enjoy the rest of the hols. we are coming down to scarborough for a week .
