Hi everone! I just found this on the HSE site which says that egg boxes and toilet rolls can be used for crafts and it's just a myth that you can't! (Unless Ofsted says differently I guess!) www.hse.gov.uk/myth/august.pdfMakes our lives a bit easier! Lorri x

This is one of those where you never know if you are supposed to or not and it has been going around for a while
Last year the nursery by me had to make sure if they did use these that they were sterile by putting them in the microwave or in the frezzer
Whatever next !

I've always stuck to using kitchen roll tubes (we get through enough) but also request them from parents too Loo rolls and egg boxes go into the compost bin the kids love filling it so thats something else to use them for hehe ;D

I always used just kitchen roll tubes after toilet roll inners were "outlawed" but it is nice to know I have a choice!!
