Since ive started childminding Ive struggled with all the equipment you need to have when you look after a baby.
I joined freecycle for my local area and its been brilliant, the things Ive asked for Ive always got replies with offers or advice.
So far Ive had a travel cot which was like new, a walker from a fellow childminder. Toys for babies and last weekend I asked for a double buggy as looking after 2 emergency toddlers as mum just had baby. within 2 hours I had a offer of a double buggy and the lovely lady even delivered it that day for me.
I have in turn freecycled stuff.
I cant praise it enough.

I agree!
I love freecycle, I have freecycled lots of items including two sofas which went to a charity for homeless people. Plus it keeps the items out of landfill sites!

Yes freecyle is brilliant. The amount that we have for our baby, which is due on 23rd, is unbelievable. We have everything, you would think we had loads of money. Truth is, most of it was from freecycle!! Didn't just put out hundreds of wanted adds, but just viewed through the offered since I found out I am pregnant and gradually got everything we needed!
Its fantastic and I would recommend to anybody. I have given plenty of stuff away too so have returned the favours!

I love using freecyle. It used to annoy me when we were taking stuff to the local tip as alot of it was in really good condition.
Now I just put up a list onto freecylce and its taken almost next day and saves you a the hassle of taking it to charity shops( who never seem to want it) or the tips.
Got my daughter last month a lovely pink and pine dressingtable for her room that funnily enough matches her wardrobe and chest of drawers.
