Hello,
at the moment I charge £3.20 per hour but with one child leaving soon my income will be down, I was planning on increasing fees in the new year anyway as I'll have been working over 6 months and I charge less than a lot of other childminders in the area. I plan to put it up to £3.40/£3.50.
Not sure how to put it to the parents.
This includes all meals, snacks, trips, toddler group etc.

Hello
I would do it in a newsletter to be honest
I would just keep it short and sweet Just say something like ....
"Advance warning my fees are going up on ...... This will include food etc etc etc
The first payment including payment increase will be on ......"
If you give them enough warning you will find a lot of them will not really question it
Also explain that it is excellent value because you include trips in the price too ( which is a bargain because I would not do that unless it is somewhere real cheap )
Good luck
Angel xx

I put my prices up last april to £3.50 from £3 and put in line with the other childminders in my area ect. I'm now £3.60 per hour and still one of the cheapest as everyone else put their up again!!! most are £3.75-£4.50 per hour
