Hi ya
I have had an enquiry from a lady regarding a one off emergency childcare for a saturday and to collect and drop off her 3 children to her house.
I explained that i don't work weekends so i will be charging £7.00 per hour per child and £6.00 to collect and drop off her children from her home as she doesn't have transport.
just wondering for future reference if i've overcharged or undercharged her - what does everyone else charge for unsociable hours/emergency cover and weekends if you don't work them and to collect and drop off children from their home.
thank you

I would charge DOUBLE my normal hourly rate per kid which for me would be £8. As to collection and delivery it would really depend on how far away they stayed so it was out the way then probably take £5 extra.
Could be a nice little earner in time for xmas. not to be sniffed at

I also charge double for weekends / emergency care.
It depends on how far you need to travel for pick up and drop off.
Don't forget it's not only your fuel but also your time
