Does anyone get paid with childcare vouchers if so does the system work well. One of my parents has approached me about using them I think she said they were accor vouchers, but i don't know much about them.

I don't know much about these but there are a few people on the forum who have been paid this way. If you look at page 2 of fees and charges there is a thread about them. Sorry can't be of more help. Carol x

I get paid with accor vouchers and it has worked out ok so far. I have only just registered. Some schemes are electronic vouchers and some paper. You send the vouchers off and are credited to your account within a couple of days. You do need to register with them though but you can pull the info of the accor website www.accorservices.co.uk Hope this helps Mel x

I'm currently in the process of registering with Leap Frog Vouchers as a parent gets them through work - will let you know how they work out.

Hi Louise We used to pay our Childminder with the accor vouchers. You have to register you details first of all on their web-site. Basically they were sent to us through the post each month, my husband then had to sign them and we passed them onto the our Childminder. She also had to sign them and she would send them off and the money would go directly into her bank account. You can also credit the vouchers on line, by entering each one individually with the number on them (bit like a Tesco clubcard e-voucher) and the money went in next working day. She loved them as it was a way for her to save money - lets face it when you get paid by cash you do tend to spend it rather than save it!!! I wish parents would pay me by vouchers, I just can't get used to cash Hop that helps. Love Diane x

I've just been asked to take vouchers - first time in 14 years so i'll be interested to see how it all turns out.... Just so long as they remember I've got bills to pay! Sarahx

Hi I have 2 parents who pay me with busy bees vouchers and it has always worked out well. One pays with paper vouchers and the other with online vouchers and both are easy. Money always goes into my account on time.

Hi I get paid with accor vouchers - it's fairly straightforward once you've filled in the forms to register payment goes straight into my bank account. Parents have to instruct accor to pay the money over - otherwise it's just left in a holding account.

Hi
I get paid with Accor vouchers never had any problems just fill in and form and send a copy of your certificate through, but it is down to the parents to tell Accor to pay it goes straight into my bank account. I had never had any problems, just as long as your parents remember to pay you.
