Does anyone here charge for their time off/sickness? How much do you charge and what do parents think about it?
Really interested to know about this one.

I charge 1/2 of fees for my holidays and no fee for my sickness. My parents are happy with this.
I have my son going in to hospital soon for an operation so have decided to not charge the parents for those 2 days.

I'm the same as most of the others charge parents full fee for their hols or sickness but if I'm not available for any reason I do not charge.

I charge full fee for my holiday (4 weeks a year) and full fee for theirs, they dont seem to mind. I dont charge if I am sick or cannot offer the service at short notice for any reason. Since the pay in advance I make a refund if I owe them anything for this. All CM seem to charge for hols round here .

I think that as long as you are competitive in your area, you are unlikely to put parents off choosing you over someone else.
