Hi
I just wondered what, as a general rule, you include in your fees and what you charge extra for. Do any of you include basic activities i.e. tumble tots in your fees or do you charge extra? I was going to ask parents to provide nappies and formula milk for babies but am not sure about other things.
Thanks Lucia X

hi the only thing i include is one meal and drinks and snacks, if it is an after school child only then they get a snack and drinks . i charge back all of the toddler group fees all baby milk nappies wipes etc as my kids are too old for those things so i would only be buying them or going to them for the mindees.
having said that sure start have opened a children's centre in our area and they are free and i go to two groups there a week.

Hi
I plan to include drinks, snacks and lunch and any trips to toddler groups that I am already taking my son to. I would definitely charge extra if they want you to take their child to Tumble Tots or similar - they cost a fortune, over £5 for 45mins here!
I will ask parents to supply their own nappies, wipes and cream etc as I think it's just easy for them to leave the change bag with me and I don't want to buy all separate creams and store different sizes of nappies!
I'm hoping to get away with not having to do an evening meal for anyone as I like to have this time as family time but if I have to I will charge extra for this but don't have any idea how much!
That probably wasn't very helpful was it! Sorry!

I include drinks, snacks and bfast / lunch / tea to a schedule so they know my timings and if child is here, then they get to eat - the rest parents pay for ie toddlers, singing groups, outings, entrance fees, ice creams at the park (unless I'm feeling generous!), nappies, wipes, nappy bags etc Hope this helps Sarahx

I include snacks and drinks in my fee which is £3
I charge £1 per meal
I charge extra for day trips etc but we have only really got expensive places around here that are at least £5 to £!0 per child So if you have 6 children like I did today I would be out of pocket including it in the price
Babies that I mind all parents supply nappies, cream if they want, bottles, wipes etc They supply solids up the age of 1 year or longer up to the parent
All my children use different sun cream for one reason or another so parents supply that too

Hi Lucia I include all meals unless they are special dietary ones which can be expensive. I ask parents to bring nappies, wipes(to be used for their own child at nappy time) and formula milk. I supply wipes for general hand wiping for all children. I don't charge for basic toddler groups etc. but would ask for a contribution if it was an expensive day trip, i.e. zoo entrance fees etc. Don't worry about posting in the wrong place by the way, I'll move this to fees for you

Hi I include all the meals/snacks etc, but parents have to provide baby milk, nappies, wipes and if anyone is on a special diet. I normally pay for toddler groups but if I am going somewhere more expensive then I will ask parents for a contribution towards cost. Lorraine xx

Hi there,
I charge £4 but include all snacks, drinks and a healthy hot lunch. Also included in this price is all trips to softplay centre (once a week).
Parents only supply babies milk and nappies. i have wipes as i use them for my own kids.
Just found it easier to have an all inclusive price which is also easier for the parents as they no exactly where they are and i can take the kids on any unexpected trips when i want without having to ask for money to cover the costs.
