What do you do if one of your mindees is regulary picked up between 45 mins to 20 mins early from contracted times?? Do you refund the difference in your next bill?? or do you carry on as contracted times agreed at the begining of mindee starting.?? Not sure if I should be amending their bill as I charge an hourly rate? Although have to say am not keen on dividing the hourly rate up into minutes? to get a precise amount due. Just wondered what you all did/do??

I agree with Donna
I wouldn't refund as it is the parents choice to pick up early but may suggest when the contract is up for review that they decrease the contract hours but would only do it for half hour or hour slots. e.g. if contract pick up was 5pm and they constantly picked up at 4.10 would suggest amending to either 4pm or 4.30pm
Hope this helps

Totally agree with Donna and Dee,
You should be payed for contracted times as that is what they have employed you for. And yes, if it was becoming more and more regular that they were always early then I would probably suggest ammending the contracts to an earlier finish time

thank you guys
the soft side in me was saying maybe but the business side was saying NO.
The idea of updating the contract when renewal due is a good idea. x
