Hi Youre better to do a search and find local childminders in your area, judge it by that, if all other childminders charge £5 then great, but it varies greatly on the area you are in

Hi
Check out a few minders on your local CIS website - some minders do advertise their rates and that might give you an idea.

Hi
There was an earlier thread about what we charge and down south charged higher.
You should definitely check out what's being charged locally and go with that because if you undercharge it's hard to raise it if you later find out everyone else is charging more.

Sounds to me like you still haven't really made up your mind and not entirely sure what to charge - lol!!!
Have you been to any local groups - I really think you need to speak to some of the other minders in the area to get a better idea. Does your area run the Support Childminders scheme? maybe you could try and get in contact with one of them and she may be able to give you some good advice.
Good luck.
