Hello everyone
One of my parents is going to be paying me late in a few weeks time. She is going to be paying me on a Thursday instead of the usual Monday. She has cleared it with me first and I have agreed to this but I said if she does not pay by the Friday then I will charge her my £5 late fee She has no problem with that
What my question is ................
What happens if she can not pay me till the following week ?
Do I charge a daily late fee or do I charge another £5 when she is another week late ?
I realise that I do not think my contract is clear - it says " you will be charged a late fee of £5 then you will be charged every day thereafter " - but I now realise it does not make it clear about the fee amount
Hope I have explained that properly?
Thanks
Angel xx

Would you be happy with £5 per week and do you think that it would be enough to make the parent pay up quickly?
If not and you want to charge £5 per day then on the Friday you could say "You do realise that it will be £5 per DAY late fees from now on"
Then if she says it wasn't clear in the contract you can say that you will do a new one making it more clear.
If you are happy to receive £5 per week then do that but don't let it go on for too long or she might get into that 'it's so much now I can't afford to pay' situation that Shirl had a while ago with one of her parents.
