Hi Tracy
If it were me I wouldn't charge for when the child was at school. Just charge the before and after school rate during term time and the normal daily rate during school holidays.
What does everyone else do?

Hi Tracey,
Welcome I am sure you will enjoy it here and get a lot of valuable advice
I have children dropped off at 7 and 7.30am and have to take them to school, I then collect at 3 and have them till 6 or 6.30pm
I charge for the morning before school and their breakfast if they request it. Then I charge again when I collect them So for example 7 till 9 am then 3 till 6 pm Also charge for their evening meal No charge for when children are at school
If they were to have an unexpected day off from school / or the heating was down at school , if they required full time care childcare for that day they would of course have to then pay the extra hours
I charge them full time hours during the holidays because of course they are with me and not at school
Hope that is of some help
Happy new year
Angel x
