We haven't yet, will be some time next week I think.
Bit early for us but I'm really excited this year having Charley and Mitchell.
I've seen a couple of houses with their trees and decs up local but hubby would have a fit if I put ours up in November.
Got the childrens xmas dressing up outfits last week.
Charleys an angel and Mitchell is a snowman.
Can't believe it's only 4 weeks tomorrow.

Ours are crammed into boxes, 2 I think.
We got Charley a pink tree for her bedroom so I might let her put hers up one night after school this week.
Thank god I'm never behind you at the supermarket, that's all I can say.

Oh no I hope my daughter does not see pink trees that means she will most def want one
I hate the colour pink - I think it is due to my daughter that I hate it so much
You need sunglasses when you go into her room
I am putting my tree up after our forum meeting - we have a real one so will try to hang on if I can

I'm the same to a certain degree.
Why do assistants put your bread or fruit in with tins?
Nothing worse than squashed bread and bruised bananas

Oh bless her
One of the children I mind had to start wearing glasses during the summer holidays
She was so proud and was holding her head very still and showing off with them
Then after a couple of weeks she decided she no longer wanted to wear them
She started to take them off and hope no one would notice
She even sat on them and broke them thinking they would not be replaced haha
She is fine now though
Charley will be lovely cant wait to see the pics you are going to be a proud mom

That was her today.
Had to force her in the chair, optician was no help just sat there not saying a word. Eventually she did what I asked.
Then at the end was jumping for joy cos she has to wear glasses.
Then there was the discussion between her and mindee on how all the other children in her class will want glasses cos she's got them and she'll be the only one wearing them.
Hopefully she will wear them and not keep messing with them but we'll see.
Glad your mindee is ok about them now, I suppose it does take time to get used to them.
We never stop being proud of our children do we, no matter what age.

Love the house Fionamal, you can never have too many Christmas decorations. I'm not allowed to put the tree or any other decorations up 'till after my son's birthday on 4th Dec. I can plan though and buy!!! I'm going to Belgium for a girly weekend with some friends and I know i'll come back with yet more decorations. I have started playing Christmas music in the car and today we had our first-of-the-season toddler group Christmas party.

Mine goes up a week before xmas and not a day sooner... just gets in the way! Bah humbug!
I will decorate the lounge before that though, I just cant stand kids pulling at the tree so the less time its up the less i'll get annoyed. I take a lot of effort doing my tree and I dont like it getting ruined.......... Yes everyone, my middle name is scrooge.
Took my tree down on boxing day last year.... got on my nerves cos izzy kept puling the baubles and decorations off, so I took it down and saved getting stressed out ha ha

Will be putting mine up day after forum meet.
We have a real one, so as long as it isn't raining we'll go and get it when I get home then decorate it later on that night. I also have an artificial one in the conservatory that will probably go up on Sunday.

It takes us a whole weekend to do the outside and also the trees inside as we have 1 in each of the kids bedrooms and also one in the livingroom and a big one in the dinningroom.
