for the second time in two days got to have my eye looked at, I have what might be absolutely nothing, or something very nasty indeed, and I am shi**ing myself about it. Not so much about what it might or might not be, but what they will have to do to me to determine if it IS the big C. I am so so scared that I'll need a biopsy ( needle in your eye, nice!) or they'll have to pop it out to do something to it. They don't put you under for eye things apparently. Even more apprehensive today after msging my sister, who I rarely talk to really, to find that SHE has also got one of these in her eye, same as how mine started 5 yrs ago, and her optician has told her it's nothing ( as did mine at the time) but it's really grown a lot now, you can clearly see it in photos ( imagine a Madeleine type mark)

Hi Lou
Good luck at the hospital, please let us know how you get on.
Whatever happens you can handle it, the doctors and nurses are fully trained to help you through any tests you might have to have. My mum's got serious problems with both of her eyes and she's never had anything like you describe done - the only thing really was having dye put in which is nothing and some drops to make her pupils huge.
I hope you are okay as you read this.
Lorri xx

Thanks everyone. It's looking rather bad actually, I have to be referred to a specialist in Liverpool ( I live in Inverness!!) www.eyetumour.com this is where I have to go, and looks like it might be in the next couple of weeks, after reading that.

I'm sorry Lou.
Hopefully they will fit you in very quickly so you know what you're dealing with soon rather than keep imagining all sorts.
Keep us up-to-date and I hope it gets sorted out soon, it must be really worrying.
Love
Lorri xx
