Have you had something that you really love
Maybe something when you were a child ?
Something that made you cry with happiness ?
Something that you still have and have kept for years ?
Something that was such a suprise ?

When i was a majorette i really wanted some pom poms as my corp's ones were homemade out of carrier bags lol (we were a poor troupe). My parents must have saved all year as they bought me the most beautiful huge white pom poms, they must have cost so much money, i've still got them today along with all my batons. I spent that christmas day scrunching them up lol.
xxx
ps my old dog muffet was born on christmas eve so really he's the best present as i had 11 years with the best dog ever.

Oh that is really sweet Theresa makes you realise sometimes if you really think about it how much things cost when we were young and how our parents saved hard it makes the present have more value to us
Maybe you could bring them to the meeting and show us some of your moves haha

The best pressie Ive ever had was off my hubby last year! He got me 3 days and 2 nights to Hoar Cross Hall Spa, it was fantastic. My friend came with me and we had a blissful time with no men and kids around. It was a total suprise ;D
Going away with the hubby this time though as we need some time together!!

I think this years pressie is going to be the best - I'm having a 'SLAM MAN'!!
Its like a punch bag - but is in the shape of a man, and it lights up in different spots for you to punch! Just what I need for pmt week!
I used to do Tae-kwon-do (martial arts), am a blue belt (nearly at black belt), but just haven't had time to train lately. Last year, I was the British Silver Womens champ! there you go - brag over.

Hi Susan,
Yes, well its a blue tag (when its a stripe in the colour), once I get back to it I'll be doing my red tag (blue with a red stripe!) - confusing isn't it!!
Its really good for children though, has he been to any competitions yet? They are really good, and its great for their confidence.

My best present was a zx spectrum, and that was also my most disapointing chrismas too. My dad set it up on christmas morning for me and " Was just testing it!" and plugged the joy stick in without turning it off, and that was that! It took weeks to get mended- I didn't get a go on Horice goes skiing on :'(christmas day- GUTTED!

A few bests that I can remember
Nurses outfit, and medical case. The fairies (mum and dad) had wrote me a note telling me what to do when I had a nose bleed as i used to have loads when I was small.
Engagement ring - also worked out. Eternity ring. Diamond bracelet and earrings (see previous thread re earrings!)

The first Christmas I was single, after 18 years of marriage, I had a pendant made for myself - it used gold from an old ring, a necklace I never wore, a pair of earrings my mum bought me that were probably really expensive but totally horrible and 3 diamonds from the ring I wrapped it and gave it to me on Christmas morning.... I was soooo happy! Sarahx Now bfriend buys me really lovely things.... and I know they are bought with love, so that makes them special - even when I have to change them LOL

My husband is not the most thoughful of people.
So far ive had off him over the years a new dressing gown, cd's and a new stereo.
These are very surprising for him as he normally forgets or leaves it till the last minute.

Ha ha! "A nit comb" thats surely the best worst pressie (if you know what I mean). Made me laugh so much! I think if my hubby gave me one of those as a gift we'd be heading for divorce lol.

The best present (or so I thought at the time) was being told that we could adopt (after an ectopic pregnancy and being told we could never have a baby) We were sad , but the thought of adopting helped us . BUT when I had check up 8 weeks later to make sure all was ok they found out I was pregnant !!!!!!! So 11months after ectopic We had an 8lbs 4oz Son . 1 Awful Christmas followed by the most amazing one . Who says miracles dont happen?
