Makes 12 triangles
Ingredients
1 x 500g packet pre-rolled puff pastry 1 jar Mincemeat a little unsalted butter, melted icing sugar for dusting
Method
Unfold the pastry and cut in to 3" (8cm) triangles (make a cardboard or paper template first). Bake the triangles at 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 8 for 8 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly and then gently split in half. Spoon the mincemeat on to the bottom halves, then top with the lids and glaze with melted butter.
Bake in the oven for a further 3 minutes.
Dust with icing sugar
Really easy for the kids to make
It is important that you use the puff pastry straight from the fridge, and that the mincemeat is at room temperature. If you don't want to make triangles, simply cut in to 2" (5cm) circles with a crinkle cutter - it works just as well and is even quicker!
