I have the ELC hospital with figures, pregnant woman, bandaged child, man with glasses etc.
And Elc multicultural family (Wooden people)
Little people trainset - differant race people etc
Everything is so expensive, might be cheaper to get matching games, posters, could do food tasting, Menu..
Any more ideas would be great!!

if you have a local toy libary you can borrow a few things from there and books from libary (they do good kids ones in dual langauge)just make sure you let them know you use these and the children help make selections when there (i used to take photos of kids playing with the toys and make posters to use as evidence

One of the best toys I have got it the Balamory Play go round house which has so many different things in and when I had my inspection last year she was very impressed with it. Lorraine xx

Mel, I only have the one toy at the moment too. It is the fisher price school bus, 12.99 in Argos. It features a little wheel-chair and has a ramp for access at the back. Also features a spanis h driver and one black and one white child.
It's suitable from about 12 months I think and makes noises (unless you take the batteries out) lol.
I coud do with a few more ideas too. Donna

the only disability toys i had when i had my inspection was what had been sent to me in my resource pack - a coloured rag doll and zimmer frame oops sorry - walking frame.
I looked on ebay, but any toys like that were really expensive.
Do you know any other childminders that might lend you anything they have?
