Well everyone what a bloomin rubbish week I have had
I sat and cried at the weekend because I looked at my daughters wedding pics from 3 years ago and I looked so slim compared to my sons a few weeks ago It made me feel sick
You know that you have put on weight but at the same time sometimes you try to kid your self you are ok if you know what I mean ?
I knew I had put tons of weigh on for gods sake but honest to god when I saw the pic from 3 years ago I had such a shock
How on earth have I let myself go - it is terrible really
My other half knows how upset I was and tried to make me feel better - but it just did not help
Then he offered me a weekend away at the end of August if I stick to a diet till then ( the deal is I have not got to lose loads just stick to it and no cheating ) If I do not stick to it then we do not go
He also offered me some other things that I want - can not tell you though it is top secret haha
How is everyone else doing you all ok
Do you ever realise how fat you really are like I did ?

Yup angel - Whenever I look in a mirror!!!! I realise it everytime I look at myself! Because I know how my body should look and can see exactly where all the excess is!! I have clothes in my wardrobe that are a size 12 and when I feel like trying to motivate myself I go and try to squash into them........ and cant lol However, i am still doing really well on slimming world! I am enjoying the food, feeling positive and looking forward to being slim again!! Richard got my flowers on saturday and said well done for being so good on my diet. Im feeling very healthy as well - cannot believe how much fruit and veg I have been eating now that I am motivated and suprisingly actually enjoying all the healthy stuff!!! Come on Angel........... We were going to be really good this time around!!! I'll send you a meal plan for a week if you want and see what you think to it... you've done slimming world before havnt you?? If you eat what i've eaten for 4 days then you could be 4lb lighter by sat!!! woo hoo, lol. And, I have even been able to eat some chocolate!!!!! Now you dont get better than that Hows everyone else doing?? x I started properly last thursday, I have lost 4lb so far so by this thursday I hope I manage the 7lb that im aiming for!!!

Lana I have done every diet going but NOT slimming world there is none by me everyone says how good it is though
Maybe that is what I need a change to what I am doing at the moment
If you could send me a weekly plan I would be really grateful
Glad you are doing so well
I need motivation
Instead of pushing myself after seeing them pics it just made me want to eat and eat - just the opposite of what I should want to do

We can do it!
I feel guilty saying this now but I lost almost 2lbs this week mainly due to being a bit good with food and also exercising.
Saying that, I did eat a whole family sized dairy milk bar Saturday night and sweet and sour chicken balls with chips - all of it very gorgeous and very much enjoyed!
I am lucky because I am in 'The Zone' at the moment mainly due to the support on here! Probably won't last long though, it normally doesn't!
Still got another 16lbs to go which is a very depressing thought!
You can definitely do it Angel, it's just a case of being in the right frame of mind. Are you able to exercise a bit for a few days without worrying about dieting and then maybe you will just cut down on the food naturally?

i had a good week last week, i lost 1lb but i'm on my monthly's now so diet is out of the window as i know i'll eat chocolate (cause i do every month lol). So my plan this week is not to lose weight just try not to put it on. I've had one bounty bar today (for breakfast ;D) and i've resisted temptation and didn't buy any cheap ones in town today.
Good luck everyone for this week and Angel you sound really down about your weight hun, don't be, you will get to the weight you want to be in due time, just don't try too hard and remember it's harder to lose weight when you're working all the hours that you do. Keep your chin up ladies as we will get there.

Angel, I'm much bigger than you & I'm feeling rubbish too! I know excatly what you mean as everytime I see a reflection I think Who's that? - It's me! I can't carry on being this size & I can't afford to go back to weight watchers, but I am at a point where enough is enough!!! We will loose weight and feel great about ourselves!!!!!Stay positive Tasha

Hey Theresa! Can't believe you had a bounty bar for breakfast! How funny!
I've had pizza for breakfast before now and chocolate cake and birthday cake! (That's not just one breakfast though!) Ha ha!
Isn't it funny because I think I'm the only one that does these things but it's comforting to know that I'm not!
I'm sure that we can all do this if we stick together.

hi lorri, i'm terrible with food when i'm on my period, if i don't have any chocolate in the house i have really bad cravings for it lol. It's funny but i always know when i'm due on cause i eat so much sweet food, in fact my mum always knows when i'm due as she notices the crap that i eat when i visit her. In the past i've been known to eat a whole homemade victoria sandwich with jam and buttercream (not in one sitting) but over two days cause i haven't felt like eating normal healthy food.
I must be the only 32 year old who still eats like a 12 year old and eats chocolate in bed (in the wee hours of the morning)

Oh no! What are we like!?
I did eat a WHOLE farmhouse manor cake the other week in one day! Granted I didn't have lunch or dinner, just the cake, but still! That's awful isn't it! Ha ha! Not exactly healthy!
It's like all sensible thoughts go out of my head sometimes when it comes to food and when my husband's away I obviously get much, much worse because no-one can see what I'm doing! But I ensure that my son eats really healthily, he only has chocolate really rarely - took him about two months to eat one easter egg because I'm so careful! I never give him cake and he only has biscuits now and again and they're either ones I've made myself or special 'toddler' healthier ones!
Crazy isn't it! I eat like a child too!

It is nice to know I'm not the only one who eats chocolate in bed and a whole cake to myself lol. It is strange though considering we teach children to eat healthily (had to at nursery too) i think we're rebels xxx

Hi girls, sorry I haven't been on in a while - I have so little time at the mo - I tend to start at the top in members only & work my way down - but I rarely get as far as the lounge! (I shouldn't be sitting here now but hey ho!)
Angel Slimming world is really good - is a little confusing to start with but once you get your head round it you can really stuff yourself silly with great food as long as you make the right choices! I have a few of the magazines, I'll send you one if you pm me your address, I often use recipies out of them.
I actually lost 4 1/2 lb last week! 1lb this week and that means at last I have lost a stone since I started! Way back in February mind you but hey its still a stone!
Hubby has booked us in at one of our best local hotels for our anniversary in September - I would love to shift another stone before then (The chef is Galton Blackstock - he was in the cook for the queen competition, meant to be excellent!)
Anyway gone off course a bit there - Chins up girls - we can do it!

Well done both of you
Slimming world does sound good but we do not have one round here - not local enough anyway and when you do not finish work till 6.30 it makes it more difficult
I will have a look at their website though
Hope you all try hard at the weekend
