Hi All I wondered what, if any, extra exercise people are doing to aid the weight loss? I was swimming every day last week and I'm starting aquacise tomorrow morning. I have also started bouncing on the trampoline with my daughter in the evenings - raining tonight People always say that running around after chn should have the weight dropping off but strangely it doesn't! Hi Bessie
I would love to go swimming or on the trampoline but I can not due to my leg so it limits what I can do
I have got a strider though not sure If you have seen them I have been going on it for 30 min every evening ( well not this week due to being ill ) But it is great for weight loss I lost so much weight 2 years ago using this and diet so hopefully it will work this time around It is supposed to be good helping the flow of blood too which is even better for me
I was thinking of getting a trampoline , think I will put a post about it in the lounge
Hope you are doing ok this week
Angel xx

I've been going out more with the double buggy and trying to make sure im doing an additional 30 mins out each day if not for longer. I.ve actually really enjoyed taking the kids out on more walks. Not only that but my new thing which I have been doing is each time I want something from upstairs I have been running up and down them twice before getting what I wanted - think the kids think im being a bit strange but never mind!!

Hi
Yes swimming is so good for relaxation too - it's a shame you can't do it just now Angel. However, the strider sounds good. Is it like a running machine? I used to love that at the gym I belonged to in a previous life!
Trampoline too - we have a mini rebounder but I find the garden one bouncier - sadly the poor neighbours get to watch too.
My daughter has been teaching me to breath properly while swimming and I think it's making a big difference to my confidence in the water. Soon I'll be ready to go to the big girls sessions where they take their lane swimming very seriously!
You're very good to do additional walking Lana and running up and down the stairs is taking this very seriously indeed!!

well I dont get time for a gym Bessie so im trying to make the best of what I can do. I wish I could cos I used to love going but I just cant fit it around the family and work at the moment. As I dont drive its harder getting there and as for buses - i'll be lucky, cant even find a bus stop where we live, dont know where they go but its not near my house? The other problem is with Richard being away so much all the time that I cant rely on having someone home to look after izzy. Its a shame really. Im going to become a member again once I drive as I can drop Isabelle off to family etc for an hour, so for now im sticking with my stairs lol. I've started doing stretches this morning and i feel like my body is really awake today. And im even going to start doing my davina workout that i bought about 6 months ago and havnt used!!! I love swimming but havnt been in so long as Im embarrased of people looking at me in a swimsuit Its a shame really as I used to go weekly, Oh well, maybe i will again soon! Im just off on another walk in a minute, I have run out of bananas so im off to morrisons to get some more as they have been what im living off it seems. Anyone else got an excercise dvd that they havnt used?? Maybe now's the time to get them out their boxes hee hee ;D Glad everyone is doing well!! xx
