Hi
I will read the book Fat Busting Foods that has worked well for my skinny sister and let you know if I glean any good tips from it. Apparently it's based on the notion of negative calorie foods - oh right, not chocolate then! No - not chocolate!
Foods that you expend more energy on eating and digesting than they actually contain. Probably cucumber, cabbage and that kind of thing. I'll let you know next week.

A great soup idea from BESSIE
Fat Burning Soup (from Fat Burner Foods by Caroline Shreeve)
2 bunches spring onions or 1 large onion or leek 1 med cauli or 1 large head broccoli 125g spinach or half small cabbage 1 large pepper - any colour 6-8 celery sticks 2-3 large carrots 1-2 tsp each crushed cumin and coriander seeds (optional) 1pt stock (chicken or veg) 13oz can tomatos juice of half large lemon 1 small handful coriander or flat leaf parsley 2 garlic cloves, crushed (optional) 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Wash all veg. Chop as fine as you like but don't peel.
Place all veg except tomatos in large pan with spices. Add stock and enough extra water to cover. Heat until nearly boiling then add toms and lemon juice.
Add herbs and garlic. Season with cayenne.
Simmer for 20-30 minutes or til all is tender.
As you can see you can substitute veg for another veg if you like.
On this diet you eat this soup every lunch and dinner for 2 weeks (with other food too) so this amount will do a few meals. Keep in fridge and heat what you need. You can eat as much as you like even for snacks if you don't fancy carrot sticks!!
I'm not following this rigidly but am using some of the meal plans.
