i've been so so bad. I have been doing so well on my diet, im losing weight and everything. So I thought i'd treat myself to a bit of chocolate. But because im down in the dumps and bored stiff cos richard is away - i've just eaten a whoole bar of galaxy - and not just the little bars you get, the big ones that are about the size of 3 normal bars. Im posting this and sharing it with you all so that you can all know how rubbish I am and now I cant hide it! I'll be good again tomorrow!

Do not be so hard on yourself
I have had the worse week this week with my diet I have had hardly any time to eat with the children all here so because most of the evenings I am on my own this week I have been making up for what I have not had during the day time by eating all what I should have had and more
Choc well do not even mention the word to me I feel really angry with myself for eating any at all
I am just like a marshmallow soft and round
WE WILL BE GOOD TOMORROW LANA

Well ladies - I thought it was just me!
I've just had a hot chocolate and a hot cross bun at 10.30 at night! That's on top of everything else I've had and shouldn't have had today. Too much chocolate around at this time of year if you ask me.
I've a new book called fat busting foods my sister - who is skinny - swears by and also one by some chap who says he can make me thin!
Can't seem to find the time to read them though!!!

Wasn't going to confess this to anyone but yesterday I had bought some cooking chocolate ready for the easter eggs we were going to make, and last night I ate it!! How desparate is that for chocolate? My diet has just gone to pot this year. I go to slimming world and last year/late year before I lost 3.5 stone. Since the summer have put a stone back on - didn't worry too much thought I'd start afresh in the New Year, lost 5.5lb in my first week back, (jan) and have since put 3lb of that back on. Summer is just around the corner and I still need to lose at least another stone. Does really get me down - I just luuurve my food and get fed up if I can't eat what I want, so because I'm down I eat. Does that make sense or am I rambling?

ohh, is it paul mckenna's 'I CAN MAKE YOU THIN'
I did the whole sheabang!!
The hypnosis cd, the book, even phoned for tickets to go to the seminar £275 - no thanks!
Let me know how you get on with the book but it was a waste of time for me. Just couldnt get it!!!!
Give me gillian mckeith in my house any day of the week! Now that woman gets results for people. I'd just want someone to cook it all though cos its too time consuming following her recipies!

not a huge fan of hot cross buns! did buy some delicious easter biscuits for the kids today tho, so naturally i had to taste one - vey tasty!! Diet club sounds good to me, im combining weight watchers with slim fast at the moment but have not been good today! Slim fast is only 3.5 points on WW so its easy to combine the 2. I need to lose 3 stone!, it seems like the imposssible mission just now though, why cant we just click our fingers and it be done

Love the one about the cooking choc - been there, done that.
No-one else in my house likes hot x buns so if I buy a pack of 6 I have to eat a pack of 6. And when they are on special offer bogof for example then I have 12 to get through! Oh it's a hard life.

Oh Caroline I should not laugh but I have this pic in my head of you eating the cooking choc that is soooo funny
I am so glad that I am not the only one
I lost all my weight 2 years ago then got ill ( no excuse ) but put it all back on and more
I am really in a mood because it is my sons wedding in June and I feel such a frump or a flump might be the correct word to use
We will have to let each other know how we are all doing every week
You are all making me feel hungry it is not fair is it

and caroline - yes it is a viscious circle,
your'e unhappy when you eat but you eat when your unhappy.
thats the same as me, if i eat rubbish i feel really bad so i think, oh, i'll have a bit of chocolate to cheer myself up, then feel worse again for eating something i shouldnt!
its naff!

Yes it's p McKenna. I did his confidence cd last year to help me overcome major anxiety about flying and it certainly worked for me.
Can't seem to find the same commitment to listen to the diet cd though. I think you need to listen every day and follow other techniques too.
I will get to it though and I'll let you know.

I probably did look funny eating the choc as I was doing on the sly - creeping into Kitchen and sneaking piece by piece out of the cupboard! ;D

How long did it take to listen to, what's involved. I am absolutely terrified of flying. Don't even like going near an airport and panic if I see a plane that looks too low overhead. Would love to take children to Florida next year just don't think I could get on plane again. Last time was 6 years ago for honeymoon had some sort of valium from doc's but didn't help.

Oh right - The confidence book and cd follow a similar format to the diet one.
Have you seen any of the recent programmes on sky of him helping people with diff probs?
He uses a mixture of the cd (should listen every day) and exercises in the book, including a tapping sequence and lots of visualisation.
I was terrified to fly and then after 9/11 even worse but wanted my daughter to be happy with it - that was a large part of my being so focussed about it I think.
I flew down south and though I didn't enjoy it, I felt able to be strong.
Quite cheap from Amazon and I would recommend it.

Can I join the diet club too?? I joined Slimming world 5 weeks ago and have lost 9lb but then my husband only went and won a giant easter egg!!! A kilo & a half of chocolate! Needless to say it didn't last long, although I did make him take the remains to work on monday. Luckily I cant get to the class this week so I have a week to make it better!

have had my cereal this morning -
and i am back on track, im not going to give myself a hard time today for what i ate yesterday cos its a pointless waste of time.
so come on ladies - let get slim for summer, its now or never!! ;D

Post by bessie on Apr 4, 2007 21:11:40 GMT
Well done with the cereal. I had two crumpets and half a hot cross bun!! They did need finishing up - I'm only being frugal!
I've done much better today as we were out a lot and I packed a picnic for the chn but not much for me except apples.
Yes, Still time to get slim for summer. People were out in vest tops today and I would love to wear a vest top.
Three months to the school summer hols so plenty of time to deal with my bingo wings and muffin top!
I'm going to get headphones so I can listen to the Paul McKenna cd without demanding the whole house be quiet for 25 mins every day - hard to focus on a relaxing cd with people shouting upstairs for you. I think that will be a huge help. I've also bought the journal so I've already made the financial commitment and just writing this down makes me feel like I'm really going to do it.
Watch this space!!!

Yes Bessie you will do it !!!
I have had a good day have not had time to eat

All those people with next to nothing on
Hope every one else did ok today

I did ok today,
up until about half an hour ago, i had a couple of biscuits. but was only a couple and everything in moderation - so they say,
yes, it definately is the time to make you want to lose weight as its an awful feeling being too hot in summer because you are overweight. No biscuits for me tomorrow!!!!!
My problem is the later I stay up the more I want to pick at something to eat, I think its cos im so tired all the time my body craves some energy.
Maybe the best thing for my diet would be getting to bed early! ;D
and on that note.............
good night all xxxx
