I will most definitely join you. I decided a few months ago it was time to lose my "baby weight". I have done quite well so far and have lost about a stone. My enthusiasm has worn off now but I would really like to get back to my ideal weight before I go on holiday in July(about another stone).
I have found the forum and the internet to be a godsend. It keeps me occupied in the evening when I may normally be watching the TV and nibbling!!!!

Yes I think we all said on the post that we would do that help each other ! But your heading makes more sense we can all just look for that now so good idea !
Baby weight hmmmm still got mine to lose 21 years after the event haha
It is such a lovely day here I have a bonus day off , I booked it off for a hospital appointment and now the hospital have had to cancel I have just got to make sure I stay away from the food
I am a bit fed up I so wanted to have lost some weight before we had any sunshine yet here we are baggy tshirts etc and lovely sunshine
Do any of you find that you do not like going out so much , not because you do not enjoy going out but because you cant find anything to wear and you feel everyone is looking at you? It does knock your confidence I think but the more down you feel about it the more you want to eat
Yes I need help here - sons wedding in June HELP

I laughed at that one Angel and thought yes that sounds familiar - I am still trying to loose the baby weight 11 years on, the trouble is I loose it but the pounds keep finding me again - lol!
Managed to loose a good amount of weight last year but can't seem to get back on track but trying really hard as have booked my holiday - going to Cuba this year and don't want to be the whale on the beach!
Have brought my self a cross trainer to try to get some exercise (as if we don't get enough running around after the kids!) but never seem to find the time - my partner says it makes an attractive clothes horse!!

I lost a lot of weight 2 years ago but this last 6 mths through being ill ( thats my excuse anyway ha ) I have put lots back on
I have a strider about 100pound from Argos and I have to say that helped me lose weight so fast the first time around so I am going to give it a whirl again , it is getting yourself motivated again though even though you know you want to do it Your cross trainer will be brill Dee as soon as you get yourself motivated I will think of you on yours every night whilst I am on mine haha
Oh by the way I have 2 wardrobes One side is my fat side One side is my thin side - how depressing ha
I really need to get rid of the fat side !!

Have had my cereal again this morning. so im off to another good start!! just need to stay away from anything that looks remotely like a biscuit!
Definatley should all give each other some support and words of encouragement so here's my support to you all
' LITTLE PICKERS WEAR BIGGER KNICKERS'
I've got this on my fridge so im going to stare at it from now on when I go to take something out the fridge or cupboards and remember that I have a wardrobe full of size 12 clothes that my body is screaming to get into.
Its excercising as well though isnt it, I know we are busy with children all day but its not the same as going to the gym or doing some form of workout.
I am sure we can all do this together.
Who gets on with what diets?? Im doing WW combined with slim fast. I've got a few good low fat recipies that I can share with you all too and they arent complicated. One thing I make quite a lot is home made chicken soup, it keeps for 3 days in the fridge, longer in the freezer obviously, but it so low in fat and full of veg that its great for giving you a boost, better than that horrible cabbage soup!!!
Just re-read the thread and realise that louise has already started us off with starting and finishing weights etc.... so, here's mine - god this is horrible!!
Height: 5ft 7in Age: 23 Current weight: 14st 2lb Target weight: 11st Current clothing: 16-18-20 (depends on what part of my body i am dressing, i have ridiculous boobs) Want to be: Size 12/14 Following: weight watchers First target: 13st 11lb
So shall we all make our weigh in days a thursday morning??? and then post our progress?
Come on then everyone, lets get it all out in the open!!

I think I am always going to have a weight problem Every time I loose weight I tell myself I am never going to put it on again but it just creeps back on slowly every time
I have been to weight watchers, slimming world, slimmer, and been slimmer of the year at slimmer a long time ago I think I could run the clubs I know so much about diets
The bottom line though is "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT"
2 year ago I did loose a lot of weight but did it on my own and it is easy to do
So that is what I am doing now sticking to cal controlled diet with low fat Just nice to have some support so thanks everyone for sharing your stories too
I am 5ft 4 weight gulp I have no idea - about 20 stone haha kidding not that bad just yet Clothes are 14 - 16 but want to get back to 10 - 12
I need to loose about 2 stone then I will be happy
When I am on a diet I learnt a long long time ago not to weigh myself I do not want to know if I have had a brilliant week been really good no cheating , then the scales tell me I have put on 2pound,Then I get depressed then I want to cheat What is the point I ask myself if I am being good and putting weight on
Weight can go up and down time of the month etc can pay a big part in weight gain
I only weigh myself once a month
It is much nicer to see / feel my clothes getting bigger and bigger as the weight falls off Who cares what weight we are
It is how we feel and how we look that matters
Some people can look really slim at 11 stone for example yet someone else would look overweight
It is how you feel yourself remember that !!!

Lana you are soooo right about the excercise
I have lost weight a million times it seems and never did any excersice so it was slow going
2 years ago when I lost about 3 stone I did excercise too on my strider from argos I lost 3 stone in 3 mths and I know it was the excercise that did it I went on it for 30 min to 60 min every day with out fail
I must do it again
I am about 12 stone and need to get to 10 stone Like I said though not to bothered about the weight I am I want to look and feel good

What about if we all start our diets for real on TUESDAY The day after Easter Monday
That way there can be no excuses about eating the kids easter eggs etc
What about if we all chat about it give tips and advice
Then if we have been really really good say for a few mths we show a before and after pic ?
We could do this round about the 10th June - our pics
Then just continue again for a few mths
June is a nice time to aim for the start of the summer when days are getting longer etc and we will be wanting to wear tshirts more often and not cover up with our coats ( pretending that we are not hot !!)
So start Tuesday Update and pics on 10th June
What do you all think ?

I know that after I had Isabelle I went straight back into my size 12 jeans within 2 weeks. I kept all the weight off for about 2 months and then when I got PND I piled weight on faster than I even thought possible and I've never really lost it from then. I have lost half a stone here and there but it always goes back on. I need to excercise but its finding the time. But now the weather is nicer I am going to make the most of pushing the double buggy out and about, even if we are just going for a walk for 30 mins a day - i know that will defiantely help!!

I think that a great idea Angel!!
You have just made me laugh so hard ;D ;D ;D
'Wearing coats pretending we are not hot'
Is so funny. Its not until you hear someone else say things sometimes that you realise you are not alone.
Before and after pics are a great idea!!
ohh, i feel all motivated now!

Here goes with my vital statistics!!!
I am also 5'7 Current weight is 10 stone 9 Current size is a lumpy 12 or a comfortable 14 - Also depends which half I am measuring I would love to be back at 9'7 which is what I was "before baby"
My aim would be to be able to get on the trampoline without the need for scaffolding to keep my bits and pieces in place!!!

Well here goes
Height 5' 7" Age 41 Weight 18 stones 6 pound (was just under 22 stone this time last year) Want to loose - at least another 5 stone
I will get to the top of the mountain eventually! ;D

I think once we start we should aim for the first stone in the first 6 weeks
It is unrealistic when you say you have "stones " to lose and makes us more depressed
Oh this should give you even more of a laugh
Think of what rhymes with Gail ..............
Think I will stick to Angeldelight ......nice and light and fluffy haha

Fatties of the forum - That is so funny. Makes me laugh so much reading these messages.
Of course I'm in too. Like the idea of starting on Tuesday - nice one - as I'm at Granny's all w/end and they like their food in Belfast!
OK the vital stats:
Height 5'6" Age mumble mumble Weight Oh about 13 stone something but I'll weigh on Tues. Would love to be skinny like I was when I married 14 years ago - but aim for one stone at a time I think. I am going to use the Paul McKenna book, CD and journal.
I put on weight when I gave up smoking 11 years ago and just kept putting it on through pnd and other sadnesses. Lost 1 stone once with a diet club but found it v. cliquey. And I didn't feel 'good' enough about myself to be cliquey with them. In fact I'm much more confident now so now is perhaps a better time to lose weight.
I dread summer in some ways because I have to give up my jumpers. Chn had sun hats and cream yesterday and I had my jumper.
I like the idea of ridiculous boobs - never heard boobs described that way!
Do you remember underwear called Whispers? My sister, tubby then now skinny, always said she needed undies called Shouts!

Great Name for the sub - did make me laugh. I go to slimming world and my weigh in is on Thursdays. I won't post on every week how I've done but will do it monthly when everyone else does. Having said that I lost 3LBs this week - cooking chocolate must have helped!! 5'7 (seems quite a common height!) 12st 8 size 14/16 age 34 target 10st 13 Will struggle over next few weeks - so much on socially. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! (ps I did laugh also at the "i'm not hot" so you can keep your coat on. I've done that soooo many times esp at weddings and christenings - keeping my suit jacket on, sweating buckets with a bright red face, yeah right course I wasn't hot!)
