My ICP cert has come at last. I feel very proud of it as the last cert I got would have been for my exams when I left school many moons ago. Do I have to display this or just put it into my portfolio?
Got my First Aid Training next weekend, cant wait for that.
I did my Safeguarding children one a few weeks ago, do you get a cert for doing that too cus how do Ofsted know youve done it otherwise?!

Hi Sam,
Well done! Its nice getting certificates and doing the training isn't it?
I just display my first aid, insurance and ofsted certificates. The rest I have in a folder and show new parents when they visit. If you do lots of courses, its finding wall space to put them all!! But, if you have the room - hang them up!
You should get one for safeguarding children too.

Well done, just the start of many certificates I expect so I would just keep the main ones on display like Lisa has said

I think the only ones we have to have on display are the Registration cert and the insurance one. All my other ones are in my certificate folder. I am proud of mine as i didn't do well at school.
I also keep a training log which shows what workshops I attend (some of which you don't necessarily get a certificate). This is evidence for Ofsted of all the training I do. i have attended things like childminders forums these go down as well as it shows just what I do to keep up to date with my knowledge

Hi Sam
Congratulations and well done.
You get a certificate for every piece of training that you do.
As others have said you don't need to display your ICP. It is also good practice to display your First Aid certificate as well as Registration and public liability.
