;Dhi call me stupid it you want but is the virtual-college a reconised certificate or will ofsted want the ncma one i think all childminders should have child protection as you never know now days i did food hygiene through a local group i spent all day on a saturday at the centre and by the sounds of it the course was the same it cost me £38 though.

I can only repeat what I said in the previous post: I didn't know NCMA did a child protection course. As far as I know Ofsted are happy to recognise all courses provided they meet the criteria for training.

thank you for your help pauline i have rang the college and they say as long as though you are in an area covered by one of the safeguarding children board that support them then the course is ok

Bella it was not a stupid question a lot of people do not know this so it is always good to ask for advice

hi yes going to do the course online went through the demo last night looks straight forward enough and much better than sitting in a classroom all day saturday (could be out shopping then)

good luck with the course, I'm sure you will fly through it, I did the course a little while back, and as you have said, it is a lot easy then having to sit in a classroom, Mandy

hi i have done the course found it very straight forward got 93% got one question wrong but me being me went back on and did it again to get 100% thanks all for your help and advice
