I just got my pack through for E123 on Friday to start October! Is this the one you are talking about?? I'm scared too.... but think it'll be fun trying to kick start the brain into action! Sarahx I'll be your study buddy..... if you think I'm clever enough!

Susan, you are very welcome.
Sarah, yes that is the exact one. I am hoping for loads of help, particularly as this is the first course that I have done. I did not bother doing an NVQ 3 because I wasn't happy with any of the training providers in my area and I didn't want to go to college.
I have done a quick (totally unrelated) OU course recently and really enjoyed it, I was really excited when the course stuff arrived, it was better than Christmas.
Anyway, my registration needs to be completed by Friday and I have had to send my documents back via the Early Years who are sponsoring me, so as soon as they send it on it time, I should be starting in October.
Although I am not sure when I am going to study, have no free time at all!!!!!
Look forward to picking your brains later. Donna

I've just got my E123 pack too - just worried about how much time I'm gonna be able to find. Takes me a dozen drafts to write just a simple post!

I know what you mean, fortunately I don't find the wording too difficult, it's the THINKING that let's me down!!!!!!!!!
Hope we will all be able to help each other, I haven't got my pack yet but am looking forward to it!!!

Hi Donna I completed E123 & E124 this year, it is a really good course, but you do need to be prepared to put in the work, as I said I did two courses together and did struggle to look after children all day and then find time for my children and studying. As long as you follow the study timetable you'll be OK. Some of the course is fairly heavy going and I was surprised they allowed you to do the course without your level 3 as I thought that was part of the requirements. Anyway good luck, if I can ever be of any help please let me know. Kelly

hi girls just having a look and noticed this post, I'm also doing the E123/E124, had my first tutorial in crawley the other week, just going through the paperwork now and looking at starting the first assignment either next week or when I come back from the ncma conference in november, it looks on paper straight forward but as I havent completed any assignments for a long time, not sure how the wording will look, anyway if I can help with anything just let me know,

Hi,
I can't believe that you found the time to do both of the courses at the same time.
Mine course only started 3 weeks ago, and I am already two weeks behind on my study schedule.
I'll never catch up in time!!!!

Hi Donna, dont panic, you will catch up, it is just a matter of having to reorganize yourself, I know its easier said then done,
