Hello there
I have just signed up to do quality first and was wondering how other people got on with it. Was it worth while? Is it time consuming? I am doing it because I think it might help me to develop my business and show parent that I have professional attitude to child-minding. Would love to hear others experiences.

Hello Kara
I am still doing mine it depends if you like paperwork I guess or if you are busy with the children it can be time consuming if you are busy
I am not sure why I did it really, to improve my business ? My parents of the children I mind said they have never heard of it and are not bothered if I do it or not
Grrrrr why do we bother !!!!
Let me know how you find it

hello, just wondering, up until the last couple of weeks i worked 50hrs a week so did not have a chance to do courses that were in the evening and after a long week just refused to go to courses at the weekend. can the quality first course be done totally at home? do you have someone come to observe? i have done an rspcc course on child safety online and a food hygiene one also online, but both were a couple of years ago now. both multiple choice and both about £25. it is great not having to go out in the evenings - though not as social! izzy x
