The best advice I can give you for a pre-reg is...... .....read your standards and ask us if there's anything you don't get!!! Sarahx

Hi i had my pre-reg inspection on tuesday, the inspector asked questions about all the standards, she went through each standard and asked questions like how would you ensure the saftey of a child in your care, hygiene questions, child protection, healthy eating, it was very informal and she was very nice and wasnt half as bad as i thought it was Good luck with your inspection. i am familair with the standards, but just wondered if there was anything specifically we should be focusing on.
Its all a bit like an exam to read and revise not knwoing what sort of questions will be asked.
To be fair i think the majority a fairly common sense tho.
