Sounds like you're much better off without her!
I should think that as long as you have done everything the way you should i.e contracts etc and have been polite and professional then you have no need to worry about Ofsted.
Sounds like she's just trying to get out of paying you!

She's going to look a bit silly then!
Do you think it's an idle threat to get you to let her off what she owes you or is she likely to actually do it?

This woman just gets worse!
I don't think she will go to Ofsted and even if she does I don't think that they will be in the slightest bit interested. She's probably just hoping that by saying that you will drop it.
Can't your sister's boyfriend help you?
People like her make me so mad, why do they feel the need to be so nasty. I'm sorry you have got to deal with this.

Try not to get too stressed about this.
I think that she is just trying to get out of paying you - Ofsted will not be interested in that and I think she is only saying that to make you back down over the payment.
She has probably had to pay a deposit to nursery and is trying to "get back" some of it from you
Hope you can sort it out

blimey - sorry I missed this thread.
I hope you stick to your guns and get the money you are owed. like the others say Ofsted won't be interested esp if all paperwork/policies/contracts signed - she won't have a leg to stand on.
good luck and keep your chin up.
she sounds like a right cow.

Just checking in....spend christmas period sorting out what you'll do for next year...you'll be greatful of it when the time comes!!! You could always do a few bits and pieces yourself as trial runs & to show parents at viewings (can you tell I love arts & crafts)!!!! You know how to get hold of me if you need my help again. tasha

Just caught up with this.
I am sorry that a parent has treated you like this snowqueen.
You are better off out of it as she sounds liek an idiot.... and they are never good to have to deal with in business!
Let us know what happens with Ofsted, I would stand your ground and demand the whole 4 weeks notice period and payment. Thats written in a contract that she signed. Verbal argreements arent worth the paper they are written on so if she wants to behave like a total witch then give her a taste of her own medicine. Send her an invoice for what she owes.
