Hi there,
Not at the moment no. However, you must be aware that having over 8's must not affect your under 8's - as stated by ofsted.
I've just given notice to 2 of my over 8's - for many different reasons, but it was difficult to to have a wide age range at the same time. They weren't the best behaved either, so they are not a good example to give!
Hope this helps, I'm sure others will be along to give advice. Lisa x

On this same subject.....can you start minding for over 8's before being registered? As I understand it, they are not covered under the OFSTED inspection and as most will be less than 2 hours it isn't classed as minding either? Just wondering if I can start having a couple of after schoolers as long as i'm happy that once I start minding they will not affect the care I will be giving to the under 8's.
