hi now i have finally recieved my cert i'm thinking of advertising i already have business cards and flyers and hope it wont be long before i'm on the childrens services reg i have also applied to go on ncmas site but i was considering putting a nice advert in the porch window as i am on a main road and 2 mins from a school so have a lot of parents walking past but i am consered should i be advertising that the house is occupied by children to everyone? and with my mobile number in the window am i setting myself up for loadsa hoax calls from kids at the high school lol thanks

hi kelly, i personally wouldn't do it because of the childrens safety and yes you probably would get lots of hoax calls. I would put up a nice leaflet in shop windows instead.

I've got a website name on my car - great for when I'm parked at the supermarket or in town... Not sure I'd want the house potentially targetted by all and sundry though.... My best ad places are CIS website and local schools / word of mouth...If i were you I'd try and get an ad up in the schools.... Sarahx

I would advertise in your local schools, afterschool clubs, library, swimming pool etc.
At least that way you should only get genuine callers.

Like others I would steer away from advertising from the house 0 there are soooo many weirdo's out there!!!
