Is it necessary to display your Ofsted Registration cert, insurance cert and police check docs in your living room. I want to put mine on the fridge with magnets for tidiness and easiness to take down. Will this be ok?
Is that all I need to have on display?

Hi Sam
They really need to be where parents can see them and if they go in your kitchen then I don't see why not.
I don't think you HAVE to display your CRB but perhaps someone else will confirm that?
You do also need to display the Ofsted poster for parents which you can download from the Ofsted website - there is a link to it on here somewhere

I have the Parents poster thing already, so will make sure that goes up too. I think I may have been wrong in thinking you need the CRB on display!

I agree with Tasha
I have mine in photo frames and then just put them in a drawer when I'm not working

I'm the same as miffy...as long as the parents can easily see them then if you want to put them on the fridge go ahead, but I would laminate them to protect them! Tasha

It can't be a requirement to display your CRB as those of us with older CRBs have not been issued with anything to display.
One suggestion was to put your registration certificate on back of a picture/print so you can turn it around to something more attractive when you're not minding.

i downloaded the poster but hadent printed it then when my certificate came though they sent me a copy of the poster too, but they never said anything about having to display it, so if i hadent een it on here it would have ended up in the drawer lol

I have a little back entrance hall for shoes and coats and put all my certificates and posters on a big board out there, along with an emergency fire escape plan and notes for parents...... TBH I'm proud of them and like to see them displayed. They say who I am and what I've achieved Sarahx

We did not know about poster either , all we have been told by Ofsted inspecter that we had to give all Parents the new number and contact address of Ofsted . No mention of a poster at all. So thank you we now have poster displayed
