Hi all, Just an enquiry, I'm considering registering as a childminder but would like to know what courses etc you must go on or have gone on before you register? Also, is it absolutly necessary to be able to prove whether your area needs more childminders? I have no idea whether mine does or not and don't know how to go about it !! And finally, when you talk about claiming for things that you buy for your business etc and say you put for example 3 pounds per child per day or something, claim back a percentage of your electric etc, I'm not quite sure what that's for... Do you mean, you can get the VAT back or something? Sorry if I sound dumb but I've never worked for myself before... Thanks for your help
