Hi everyone, just found this site tonight what a godsend!! I have my pre-registration visit next thursday, and just started reading my national standards. i just read about getting permission to use your premises as business use if you are a leesee. I own the flat but the building is leasehold. do I need to get permission from the managing agents and will the inspector expect me to have written permission first. I am a bit reluctant to do this as my managing agent charge £95 for all enquiries you have. please help has anyone been in this position?

Hello welcome to the forum
Hope you are enjoying it here
I think everything sounds fine and you would not need to do this but I am not 100% certain but I am sure someone will be along soon to let you know
Good luck with your pre reg next week and let us all know how it goes
Angel xx

Hello and welcome to the forum! If you own your flat, you should be fine - the permission is for people in leasehold properties from the way it reads eg church halls or rented accommodation Good luck with the pre-reg - it's for gathering information, so have a list of questions ready and ask loads!
