Hello *waves* I'm new to this forum, though I have 'lurked' for many months now ;D
This maybe like asking how long is a piece of string but how long after you've sent in your application before you can expect your pre-reg visit?
I sent Application and Health Dec last week and have had the medical peeps phone with a query (easily sorted over the phone) and this morning received my CRB forms so it does look like the ball is indeed rolling.
I have two 'mindees' chomping at the bit (well their mother is!) and was wondering when I should expect a visit?
I live on the Wirral/Merseyside if that makes any difference.
Cheers xx

It only took 4 days from posting my application to them coming out! Dont worry about policies and stuff. They just have a check around and ask what safety measures you are going to put into place before you start. They ask a few questions on how you will deal with behaviour, sleeping arrangements and stuff.
I was terrified but the lady who came to see me was lovely and really made me feel better about the whole thing.

Hi,
It was about 4 days after I had applied that Ofsted rang and she came round about 3 days after.
Overall, befre I could start minding it was 8 weeks from start to finish as the CRB check takes an age.
Good luck when its all completed Becky
