sorry forgot to ask how do u apply for crb checks

hello prob a very silly question but i have no clue we were told about having to have them done at college but when got forms was nothing about that to i n have to wait till after inital forms

Hi Stacey, what stage of registration are you? Ive just had my second pre reg visit, so I now need to send off my application form, Ofsted acknowledge my application, arrange a visit to my home and at the same time start crb checks and check references, dont know if that helps I hope it does, we cant apply for a CRB on behalf of ourself xx

That is correct you can not apply yourself
Ofsted will bring out all the paper work and check your references etc
I am sure Pauline said something about what you need - in a previous post I will see If I can find it unless Pauline herself comes on and tells you first

I just about to send forms away and have pre reg visit 5th of april once i send my forms off thats first ofsted will know of my intreast and once i paid fees they will arrange date to come over. just putting my policys together these last few days all ready for childminding coz i want to show co ordinator at pre visit. a lot of typing lol im so excited about starting childminding now i used to just work in retail b4 i had jack so this is really fun and career building for me coz starting own busness i really want to be a sucess
