Just hear from ofsted that I am now a Registered childminder. Now I'll have to find some children to look after. Got 2 girls starting in June but I'm soooooo excited I want one now! Registration has only taken 6 weeks, must be a record time.

Don't really know where to start when it comes to advertising.
I have put up an advertisement in the local shops and basically I'm telling everyone I know to tell everyone they know. I live in a small town and word of month is one of the best forms of free advertising.
Does anyone know how I can get my details on the 'Childcare link' website, do I just call them, and ask?
One of the local childminders has said as she has no vacancies she will pass any enquiries my way. Which is really kind of her.
Thanks for all your support and to all those waiting to be registered don't hesitate to contact ofsted to see how your application is going. They are very helpful and it may just hurry them along.

re the Childcare Link............ You should have been given forms to fill out during your registration (round here they are purple but might be different in your area), if you have not got them, or lost them just get in touch with your local Childcare Link and they will help you out. They are really helpful and it's one of the most important places to advertise as lots of your work will come through them. Good luck
