Im not sure if this is in the correct place so feel free to move it
I went on a EYFS awareness session tonight which gave details about the new pack coming out and what was in it and what it replaced etc etc, a very boring and pointless session but apparently the NCMA are holding the training for EYFS from january which everyone will have to attend and i also found out that ofsted are stopping all inspections from april to september
at least thats where i am, lol, in tyne and wear, not sure on the rest of the uk

Hi Raggydolls - I hate it when I go out on a cold night for training that is ultimately a waste of time! Makes me cross!! When you start reading the EYFS and really get into it, it's little different from what we are all doing now as good practice... the main thing I think is that they're trying to standardise us all, so we all do the same things.... which is what the training will be about They've cancelled loads of training in our area due to lack of interest though so not sure how they're going to make sure we all access it! Sarahx By the way, there is an EYFS section but it's in full members so I'll leave this here!

No choice really
Already booked on SC course and then EYFS is the closest to me on that day.
Means travelling miles else.
Must say I'm not impressed though
I suppose it is a one off though
