Hi All I am due an Ofsted in the next month and am really beginning to panic !!!!!!!!! Ive got all my policies in place , lots of toys including multicultural and disabilty ones, car ok, fire drills praticed monthly, 2 pinboards for parent,s info, certificates on the wall, art on the wall ,garden fine and I am sure the house is too. The only thing I think I may not be doing enough of is planning and b23 I currently have : Daily activity diary - links to b23 ( some planned and other days child led ) Album to back up diary - links to b23 Arts & crafts folder b23 trackers - filled in whenever i need to. Just wonder if this is enough as I have read on here that some of you have individual folders and obs for individual children. I currently care for two 3yr olds and a 2yr old, so i think that if i suddenly start to do lots of individual obs it will look strange especially and the two 3yr olds no longer come under b23. The 2yr old has just started so i could start to do it for her, but then again, should I as lots of people on here seem to be saying that after your inspection you can start the eyfs. Also should i be doing the fs for the 3yr olds even though they are attending 5 x 2 1/2 state nursety a week ? Cheryl x

Hi Cheryl
You sound like you have everything under control to me
You have the most important things in order anyway You have read enough on here I would imagine for ideas and help ?
I think everyone is different with planning etc it is up to you what you want to do
My friend recently had her inspection she did NOT have individual folders for the children She got OUTSTANDING
Good luck let us know when you hear from them
Angel xx

Sounds great to me - I think you've all you need - I don't have individual folders for the children yet and my planning is in my head - so I don't think you have any need to worry.
Good luck with the inspection

It all sounds absolutely fine to me! My chidlren's folders are for parents to take home at the end of the child's time with me - just show the inspector a pile of pics etc and say you're putting them together - work in progress LOL Sarahx
