For ease of reference:- www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/primary/publications/foundation_stage/940463When it came out we were issued with a printed version. If you have follows angeld's suggestion you'll see a few references to the new EYFS too. As always the world of childminding is ever changing! But don't worry, if you haven't done your ICP yet it probably all seems a bit daunting. Ask your ICP tutor when you go, other people on the course most likely don't know either. (angel, I love angel delight; reading your posts makes me peckish!)

Yeah Susi I love angeldelight too light and fluffy - wish I coud say the same about myself haha
Lorri - Susi is correct there is information on EYFS too
Maybe it would be a good idea to read through the Birth To Three first and get that in your head though It is just going to confuse you othewise
Birth to Three and Foundation are still going to be used in EYFS - the planning etc - so you could still do with knowing how it works for future reference
Did you find all the information about it? I posted a lot of it myself explaining how it works and some activities to help everyone along
Let us know how it is going

Thanks Angel and Susi, I have briefly read through it before but I'm still confused - well, more worried about it really which makes me put on a mental block!
I'm going to read through it again over the next few days and see if it gets any clearer, would be easier if I had it in paper form (maybe an idiot's guide!) as I always find it easier to take info in from a book.
I will let you know how I get on but I this has really worried me and I'm getting quite stressed!

First of all Lorri stop stressing It is not that difficult once you know how Stop concentrating on it so much lots of people still do not know how to use it Explain to me which part of it you do not understand and I will try to explain if I can If you use the activities that I put on here for Birth to Three it is a good start Then there is another section of separate posts eg A healthy child etc when I did try to explain what stage / what you should be looking for Once you know how it is not that difficult I promise you Why don't you invest in a few tracker books so you can use them for a guide instead of panicking and stressing yourself about it They are only cheap and are still being used Just an idea www.qed.uk.com/sure_start.htm#B2TIf you scroll down the page you will see the tracker books for 0- 3 years You could use them as a guide to help you If not let me know where you need help - loads of childminders have difficulty getting their head around this so do not worry that you are the only one - because you are not !!! Just to say that it really is worth using what Angel has put on the site. It has given me a great start and helps to put theory into practice (thanks angel ;D)
